Overview Weatherby PA-08 Slug Gun Combo Pump Shotgun -All Weatherby PA-08 pump shotguns feature a ventilated top rib and brass bead front sight to aid in target acquisition. The vent rib works to dissipate heat in the barrel, promotes a smoother 'swing-thru' and gives the shooter an excellent sight line for acquiring fast-moving targets. Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mount Combo - Black Anodized - 1' - Medium, Weatherby Accumark - Magnum, Mark V (9 LUG) The Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mount comes in Black Anodized at the 1-inch size. This mount is built to be exceptionally lightweight while at the same time providing you with a stable platform from which to mount your scope. Weatherby Scope Mounts; From mild to wild long range target rifle as above, WE WILL HAVE IN STOCK the right mount for your chosen scope on your favorite Weatherby rifle. There are two types of mounting systems. The Rail and Alphamount system as above. Alphamounts clamp onto a rail. That 3/8” to picatinny won’t hold up to recoil on the 22 it was designed for much less a shotgun. Also, most SA-08 models I am aware of aren’t cut with dovetails. Only way to mount a red dot or scope is either drilling and tapping or a barrel with a cantilever mount. Trying to clamp a scope onto the shotgun rib will just rip the rib off.

The one-piece construction of Talley’s Light Weight Alloy Weatherby Vanguard Scope Mount is unique with a rigid design that has no joint between the scope and the rifle. The Talley Lightweight Weatherby Vanguard Scope Mount unitizes a design that eliminates the possibility of an “out of alignment” interface or “loose connection” between the ring and base of a traditional two-piece optic mounting design.

Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than rival steel rings and bases but doing it with a lighter overall weight. By extruding the 7000 series alloy known for its durability and then precision CNC machining the mount to its final design we can provide you with the strongest, lightest mounting system on the market. Available in various sizes, heights and finishes; this is the lightweight scope ring mounting solution for your Weatherby Vanguard.

Hello. I have a .240 mag Weatherby Vanguard2 that I'm having trouble finding the correct scope base mounts. When I picked the gun up at the gun shop that i bought the gun from i seen they had scope mounts and rings so i asked for what i needed to mount my scope. I was told that the weatherby takes the same base mounts as any Remington model 700 would take and I'm finding out that it ain't so. They gave me weaver base mounts part# 48035 and part #48036 and the part # for the rings is 49047 weaver. The problem i'm having is that when i mount the rings they are to far apart for the scope to fit down into. The rear base mount has a flat bottom and top side has a groove that the screw would fit in to mount the ring to the base. this mount is a little longer than the front mount and the groove is off set toward the front of the gun but the front base mount bottom is curved a little on the bottom to fit the barrel but is not long enough to have enough off set toward the rear of the gun to put the rings close enough together for the scope to fit so i'm pretty sure i don't have the right mounts for the gun. The gun shop has a pretty big selection of weaver mount but don't know which base mounts i need. Does any body know what mounts i need or even better a weaver part# for what i need?.And if weaver mounts won't work what kind of mounts do i need with maybe a part # so I can be sure to get the right mounts?..Thanks for your time and any help
